2011 Chateau St. Jean Riesling Sonoma County

The lovely sweetness of this Riesling is still gently restrained to stay on the drier style of the varietal. Tropical fruit aromas of papaya, pineapple and mango extend a heady invitation to the wine, while the palate lightens to softer honey, peach cobbler, orange blossom and lime flavors. The mouthfeel is lush and rich, but with enough vibrant acidity to keep the wine balanced and well-structured.
