Where are you located?
Located one hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge, we are in the town of Kenwood in Sonoma Valley on Highway 12, half way between Sonoma and Santa Rosa. Click here for map and directions.

What wine tasting options do you offer daily?
We offer a $10 tasting of five wines in the Visitor Center and a $15 tasting of five reserve wines in the historic Chateau.

Are children welcome?
Yes, be sure to ask your host to provide you with crayons and the picture of the Chateau for them to color.

What are your hours of operation?
Daily, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Do you serve food?
Yes, we have a charcuterie/deli in our Visitors Center which includes a wide selection of sandwiches, soups, deli meats, artisan cheeses, and wine country gourmet snacks. Wines by the glass are available too.

Can I do a private tasting?

How do you pronounce Chateau St. Jean?
Despite the French "Chateau” purchased by Robert and Edward Merzoian and Kenneth Sheffield in early 70’s, the "Jean" part is actually pronounced like blue jeans and named after Jean Sheffield Merzoian -- sister-in-law, wife and sister, respectively, of the three founders.

Do you personalize wine labels?
No, but we can personalize our elegant wooden boxes. Please inquire at the Chateau.

How can I get wine back if I do not live in a reciprocal state?
If you live in a non-reciprocal state, you have other ways to get your wine home. You can choose to purchase a shipping box for your wine and check the box as baggage.

Do you produce large bottles?
Yes. Our Reserve reds, Cabernet Sauvignon Cinq Cepages and other high-end wines are available in magnums, 3.0 liter and 6.0 liter bottles.
