2014 Chateau St. Jean Benoist Pinot Noir

The inviting aromas of black raspberry, savory spice and sweet tobacco ring true on the lush palate. Flavors of raspberry, clove spice and smoked charcuterie stand alongside the firm backbone this wine offers from the cool climate growing region of the Benoist Ranch. The French oak aging of this wine integrates and smoothes the tannins, creating a creamier texture. The wine is well-balanced with bright acidity and offers crushed rock minerality on the lingering finish.

2013 Chateau St. Jean Durell Chardonnay

The Chateau St. Jean Durell Vineyard Chardonnay is a generous wine with an inviting bouquet of baked apple, lemon custard, and crème brulee. The nose leads to a rich, full-bodied palate where the fruit flavors ring true and are underpinned by spice, fresh baked Brioche and juicy pear flavors. The wine is well-balanced with bright acidity and accented by minerality leading into a long and elegant finish.

2013 Chateau St. Jean Durell Syrah

This single-vineyard Syrah is a deep, garnet color in the glass with inviting aromas of fresh raspberry, black cherry, mocha and subtle roasted espresso notes. The wine is rich and generous on the palate with forward red fruit flavors and black pepper spice. This full bodied wine has an opulent texture with polished tannins and well-balanced acidity.
