Tasting Notes

The texture of this wine on the palate is viscous with a sensuous smoothness that is mouth coating but not cloying. The apricot nectar and orange-marmalade flavors are balanced with vibrant acidity which makes this unique wine flavorful and easy to enjoy.

Vineyard Notes

Over the past three decades, the Dick Family has built a reputation as one of the premier grape-growing families in the region.  The Belle Terre vineyard terrain consists of gently rolling land with well-drained, gravelly and sandy loam soils.  Sonoma County enjoyed almost ideal growing and harvest conditions for vintage 2013. The season got off to an early start in the spring and continued through to harvest with dry and uniform weather.  The resulting wines show balance and richness.
