The fruit for this wine comes from the Maacama Ranch Vineyard located in the southern corner of Alexander Valley.This vineyard features felta clay loam – very gravelly, well-draining soils mixed with St. Helena ash and mixed volcanic rock. All the fruit came from Block 12 and is exclusively Chardonnay Clone 17.

The 2024 Maacama Chardonnay presents a delicate aromatic profile, blending classic notes of apple and pear with subtle citrus and tropical undertones, all complemented by elegant toasted oak. On the palate, the wine is soft and round, featuring lifted flavors of spiced candied ginger, lemon curd, and vanilla oak spice. It concludes with a persistent finish of baked pear and citrus, balanced by a touch of oak. This refined Chardonnay is an excellent match for savory Niçoise and Castelvetrano olives with goat cheese, creamy risotto with spring peas and pancetta, or scallops Provençal.
