AROMAS & FLAVORS

Our classically styled Blanc de Noirs offers vibrant aromas and flavors of cherry, currants and bright strawberry, with hints of citrus, peach and melon. The bubbles dance lightly, finishing with a creamy, lush palate and a persistent finish.

VINEYARD

The cooling influence of San Pablo Bay sets a perfect stage for this single vineyard, single vintage wine made from 87% pinot noir and 13% chardonnay fruit that is produced in the labor-intensive méthode traditionelle.

THE VINTAGE

2017 began with abundant rainfall, followed by a mild spring resulting in extended flowering. Warm late-summer temperatures moved harvest along quickly. Yields for the 2017 vintage were slightly lower than the previous couple of vintages. Overall, the vintage 2017 wines are of excellent quality, host complex flavors, concentrated color, and offer overall finesse.

FOOD PAIRINGS

Pair with salty, hard-aged cheeses to balance the lively, fruity aromas, or enjoy with fresh seafood and shellfish.
